I gave the vision an all-star grade, it's plain to see what your'e aiming for: A grotesque-horrified Rainbow Dash. Her expression rather complements the quote you made for her.
"Go ahead, leave me... I never liked you anyway."
I think it terrifies her that someone would leave her, of all mares/colts. And with her personality and all.
We can notice all of the anatomy and whatnot, but one thing that butted me was her front legs; I think you should make the line between them more... solid? I thought you just made one really huge, weird-lookin' leg. I'm diggin' the glossiness you added to her coat and not that you overdid it with the fanciness.
My score for originality is just a four. Mainly because we've all seen grimdark pictures of all the characters (not all, but most) and it doesn't really bother most people like it should. The design is different, like all pieces, which I like that you do. You changed it up a bit. You put more of a terrified look on Rainbow's face rather than a terrifying glare. It inspires me to imagine what it couldve been, and the quote along with it.
Technique! Yes! I think it's absolutely perf, that you have mixed so many styles with your own. I like how you kept your anatomy all the same, but added different shading techniques onto it. Is that what it is? The red in her eyes makes them look bloodshot, but it seems as if she's crying. The unruly feathers give a disheveled look to her, making her look startled. You made all the little things match the quote and facial expression, which is pretty cool.
The impact, however, didn't impact me as much. It strikes me the same as what I said in the Originality paragraph. It's just that we've all seen at least five grimdark pics, and it doesnt surprise the normal Brony anymore. Overall, I'd give this a 4.5 in stars. Great job bruh, hope to do another Critique sometime!
